Taking Visual Impairment to School

This book will help teachers, counselors, school nurses and parents discuss vision impairments with children and classmates. This book promotes an emotionally school safe environment and teaches children about vision impairments.

As Lisa explains how she finds her way around school, knows where her clothes are in her closet and even plays baseball, readers will recognize that visual impairments don’t prevent kids from being happy, well-rounded and capable.
