The R.A.T.E (Rapid Accurate Temperature Establishment) 4G technology utilizes a unique sensor; the thermometer rapidly samples the heat flowing from the blood vessels and translates it accurately to body temperature. The dual-color backlit display shows green for normal temperatures and red for fever alert, along with a peak temperature tone. Measurement options are available in Fahrenheit and Celsius. 

The soft, flexible tip is suitable for oral, rectal or under arm use. A memory recall function brings up the most recent result, making it easy to monitor any changes. The low battery indicator lets you know when you need a replacement, and an auto shut-off feature helps save on energy.  Comes with thermometer, 3V battery, half storage case, 5 probe covers and detailed English/Spanish instructions.
