This book packs in lots of useful information in the wry story of immaculately groomed Ellie, who goes to the nurse’s office at school with itchy hair. She is terrified when the nurse tells her and her mother that she has lice. Ellie learns how to treat the lice and then writes a note to other students who may have lice also. This story is a great way to explain to young children what lice is, how you get it and how to treat it.
