    In getting the HeartStart FRx trainer you will be able to help school staff become comfortable with the actual defibrillator. This trainer does everything the AED would do but can NOT be used in an emergency situation. If your school is interested in using the HeartStart FRx defibrillator it is advised that they purchase the FRx trainer for training purposes.
     
    The FRx trainer lets you type in scenarios for different AED training situations. For example if you plug in the scenario for an 8 year old who weighs 87 pounds the trainer will switch the pads to child pads and the verbal instructions will go along with the AED training for a child.
     
    HeartStart FRx Trainer (861306) comes with nylon carrying case, one set of Adult Training Pads and one External Manikin Adapter Strip for use with standard manikins.
