The newly redesigned Maico PILOT TEST Audiometer offers Pure Tone Audiometry and Select Picture Speech Audiometry.

The new DD65 v2 headsets will provide more comfort and improved noise reduction. The headset places the cushion around the outside of the external ear compared to other headphones that sit directly on the external ear providing a more comforting fit. One cord design allows for easier placement and removal of the headphones from the audiometer units. Due to the circumaural fit of the headphone, noise reduction of external environmental sounds is improved compared to the DD45 headset. This allows standard room noise to cause less interference during the testing process which leads to faster and more reliable results. 

The PILOT TEST was designed for the clinician who screens children and understands there is no "one size fits all" to hearing screening. The colorful design instantly puts the child at ease and allows the screener to quickly determine which method of screening is best for the child. The 2-in-1 design allows screeners options to actively and reliably move the testing process along. At the end of the "game", the clide is rewarded with a pilot sticker for their active participation. The PILOT TEST offers both pure tone audiometry for standard testing, and select picture speech audiometry for young children or when testing children with a disability.
