(Michigan Slide Set and Peripheral Test) The Optec 5500 and 5500P come with a corded remote control that offers greater flexibility, with buttons to change slides, as well as screening settings. Additionally test vision on the horizontal plane, with stimuli at 85°, 70° and 55° Temporal, and 45° Nasal.
The Optec Series Vision Screeners conduct comprehensive visual screenings in minimal time. Uses LED light and a series of slides to screen for a variety of conditions, including monocular, binocular, near, distance, and intermediate.
Simple, accurate and repeatable tests, with various slide packages available. Choose manual or remote control, and with or without peripheral testing capability. 2 year limited manufacturer warranty.
The Michigan Slide package includes 8 standard test slides and 4 Preschool test slides. This model also includes the Peripheral test and features a wired handheld remote control allowing the user to occlude each eye and advance slides.
